Promises, promises... Here's the wallhanging, all finished.

(My usual photo hosting service seems to be down tonight, so I'm using Photobucket instead - hopefully you won't see any difference!)
I was planning on something more sophisticated at first (with binding and so on), but as I looked at little Newton I realized it may perhaps not be suited for that kind of design - a battered teddy after all! So I opted for a "folksy" style instead. What do you think?
Thank you all so much for your comments on Newton! I really want it to reach its recipient fast. And San and Kim, you're both right - I got inspired by Stitch 2005, and even more by San's energy. A final incentive to stitch him fast was that there's so much I want to accomplish - especially with all the new projects that have been hatching in my head since I saw San's achievements at her home and the wonderful works exhibited at Stitch 2005!
I just hope I'll manage to find enough time to go on with that rhythm... But San, you have definitely inspired me a lot!
I really enjoyed completing this project. Maybe some of you remember that Seb bought me a Newton's Law kit a while back, and I told him to keep it for my birthday instead of giving it to me straight away, as I had so many projects anyway... Now I really look forward to stitching it!

Hi Isabelle,
It's love how Newton turned out. Both stitching and the wallhanging. It's so difficult to see al those lovely projects, knowing you simply don't have the time to do them all.
Compliments from me!
Enjoy your crocheting. I have given up on that. I did that a lot in the past, but now I only want to stitch!
Oh Isabelle...what a lovely wall hanging! Congrats to you and the recipient.
I'm planning to learn how to crochet and at the moment my sis-in-law is gathering some crochet patterns for beginners to mail out to me : )
Aw, that is just so cute :-) I have been hoping to stitch a Newton's Law design someday too !!
The finishing looks really very cute and fits Newton perfectly. Wonderful! I'm sure the recipient will love it.
As for crocheting evyrthing is right for practising and crocheting with thread and very small hook is a bit more difficult. Not much, but enough, that it's easier to try new things out with bigger hook and yarn. Have fun crocheting and think seriously about our 63 squares afghan CAL *evil grin*
Isabelle, It's adorable! I usually don't like designs like these, but this is really cute. Good luck with the crochet, it is so much fun.
It turned out wonderful! And the fabric does match the pink flower. :) Finishing is so important to me that I go out of my way to find just the right thing to finish off a project. This one is perfect! Great job! - Kim
Awww - he is so cute Isabelle and the wallhanging you've made him into is absolutely gorgeous! I am sure the recipient will love him. You are sooo clever :-D
