I'm finally fulfilling a long-wished-for project: stitching a Newton's Law design.
This isn't at all what I was intending to stitch this week, what with the new stash I acquired at the London Stitch Show, but well... I just wanted to make a special gift for a friend. This one is from the latest Quick and Easy. You can see it on the cover:

I'm stitching him on the pastel pink aida I bought for my round robin. So I think I'm going to change the blue shades for the flower into pinks.
I plan to turn it into a mini quilt. I hope to finish it soon, so I can send it to my friend ASAP!
Have a great weekend everyone! It's so cold in France...

And here's my progress on him:
It's going quicker than I expected! Which is always nice, isn't it. :)I'm stitching him on the pastel pink aida I bought for my round robin. So I think I'm going to change the blue shades for the flower into pinks.

great progress ! but I'd keep the blue flowers, they are a nice contrast on pink...
It's cold here too, I hope we won't get sick !!!
Aww he's so cute Isabelle!
He's very cute, Isabelle. I'm sure you'll get him finished in no time and pink flowers might be a great idea on the fabric.
It's coldish here as well, even thogh when there were no clouds and sun it was very warm. It just lasted only for several minutes at a time.
I love Newton's Law, they are so sweet and look fun to stitch. You are making fast progress on him as well. :) I think the flowers will look great whatever color you choose for them. - Kim
Very cute Isabelle. I'm sure your friend will love him! We are having some lovely spring weather in Washington DC so I'll try to send some your way.
